What We Do
What We Do
The Hatton Garden Business Improvement District (BID) is a business-led partnership delivering a £2.5 million investment plan to champion Hatton Garden as a thriving area for business.
Our aim is to support business growth while enhancing Hatton Garden’s reputation as a world-renowned destination for work, shopping, and leisure. We do this by revitalising the area, celebrating its iconic status as London’s famous jewellery quarter, and improving the overall experience of working, visiting, and doing business here.
The Hatton Garden BID is funded by local businesses and renewed every five years through a ballot, ensuring our priorities are directly shaped by the business community. By working collectively, businesses provide a strong voice for the area and direct investment into the projects that matter most.
BIDs are a proven model across London and the UK, endorsed by the Mayor of London for their role in shaping places, driving economic growth, and improving public spaces.
Our work focuses on four priority themes, with projects and services delivered across each area:
Protected: Creating a secure, well-managed, and inviting environment for everyone.
Stronger: Building better business connections and representing the interests of the local business community.
Appealing: Enhancing the quality of the public realm and the area’s overall look and feel.
Welcoming: Promoting the area and raising its profile to attract visitors and businesses.
Through these themes, the Hatton Garden BID is investing in the long-term sustainability and success of the area, ensuring it remains a sought after destination and a thriving business hub.
