At the heart of Hatton Garden sits the unquestionable reputation of being the trading centre for Jewellery. Over the years, the area has evolved and welcomed many more creative, food and drink businesses. It is this distinctive identity of craftsmanship and creativity, identified in both history and modern day, that we are using to ensure Hatton garden is known as a destination in its own right showcasing the wealth of experiences on offer for visitors, residents and staff:
Some of our 2017/18 achievements:
- We held many events throughout the last year including the summer festival and the fabulous Bleed art installation. A range of activities took place at these events, all designed to increase footfall and raise the areas profile. Lessons learned from the events in 2017 have been taken on board to ensure all 2018 events are bigger and better.
- We also ran a full Christmas campaign including a digital calendar, best dressed window competition and commissioned a seasonal social media campaign.
- We strongly supported Camden’s bid for London borough of culture, ensuring that Hatton garden was a high profile supporter of this. Should Camden be awarded this we will have access to funding for events and area profile raising activities.
