Recently, The Sir Christopher Hatton pub partnered with Beavertown Brewery to bring their new Luna Haze IPA to the outdoor bar on Leather Lane! Keep your eyes peeled to see which brewery will be coming to Leather Lane next! Did you know, Lunar Haze is a cosmic cloud of an IPA. Hazy, smooth and juicy with tropical flavours that taste like a psychedelic dream like state. Effortlessly drinkable whatever the conditions!
In April 2024, Hatton Garden BID partnered with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust to bring you this free women’s safety webinar, to empower those that live and work in Hatton Garden. Our first session, “Stand Up Against Street Harassment” was an hour long online training session sponsored by L’Oréal Paris, with participants taking part in the conversation around unwanted and aggressive behaviours such as harassments that underly the broader cycle of violence against women and girls. Momentum Transport Consultancy are currently taking part in Little Village’s Great Baby Shower and they are inviting businesses in the Hatton Garden area to help them give more newborn babies the things they need. Momentum have set up a collection box in our office at 23 Hatton Wall, EC1N 8JJ and you are welcome to pop in to donate items (Monday – Friday, 9am - 5:30pm). Little Village is a charity that makes a big difference to families with babies and young children living in poverty across London. They have a network of baby banks, and they pass on loved goods from one family to another – clothes, toys and equipment – so that many more babies and young...
On Wednesday 15th May, to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week, we hosted a World Mental Health Awareness Week breakfast in partnership with Charlotte Wiseman, with the theme being 'creating a positive mental health workplace'. It was brilliant for those in the Hatton Garden area to come together and speak about mental health and how to prevent poor mental health in the work place. On Monday 13th May – Tuesday 14th May 2024, the BID welcomed the highly accredited Charlotte Wiseman to Hatton Garden to host another in-person mental health first aid course for our local members to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week. As part of the BID's commitment to supporting local employees and promoting active travel, we are pleased to confirm that Dr Bike, a cycle maintenance and security bike marking scheme in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, is returning to Leather Lane! Our Dr Bike event will be held on the Tuesday 2nd July 2024, 11am – 3pm at the Holborn junction with Leather Lane.
