As the winter nights draw to a close, rest-assured that the Hatton Garden Security Team will be enhancing safety and security fall across the district by conducting regular high visibility patrols in partnership with the Metropolitan Police. Focusing on personal safety as well as local crime and antisocial behaviour issues, together we are working for a safer Hatton Garden. On Thursday 30th January 2025, Hatton Garden BID held our first Safety Forum, in partnership with Councillor Pat Callaghan (the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Safer Communities), Camden’s Community Safety Enforcement team and a representative from Community Security Trust. It was a great opportunity for local stakeholders to come together to raise queries directly to Camden Council. After successfully supporting local businesses and driving positive change in the Hatton Garden area for almost 10 years, we are now seeking a third 5-year term to continue our work and we will need your input. In collaboration with 120 Holborn, we have replanted Leather Lane’s planters with new shrubs and flowers, including agapanthus, red and white cyclamen, helloborus and lavender! We have also made a donation to Gamages Tenants and Residents Association to help them replant the small circular planter on Leather Lane. In addition to this, we have further plans for planting across the district and will be dropping into your business to share these over the coming weeks.
