Hatton Garden BID is delighted to announce the return of the Leather Lane Summer Series, a free summer activation that transforms the junction of Leather Lane and Greville Street into a welcoming space to relax and unwind. Back for a second year by popular demand, the Summer Series will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday throughout June from 12pm - 2pm, offering workers, residents, and visitors the chance to enjoy their lunch al fresco in one of our comfy deck chairs.
Following the success of our pilot Series, this simple yet effective initiative brings vibrancy and comfort to Leather Lane, one of London’s most popular lunch destinations. Feedback from our BID members consistently highlights a lack of seating as a key concern, with many people having told us they struggle to find somewhere to sit and enjoy their lunch. The Leather Lane Summer Series directly responds to this feedback, providing a much-needed solution during the busy summer months.
This activation is entirely free and open to all and reflects the BID’s ongoing commitment to utilising vacant and underused spaces in a creative and efficient way. By reimagining these areas, we aim to make Hatton Garden a more enjoyable place to work, visit, and spend time.
