The BID was recently informed that Camden Council’s contractor, Conway, will shortly be carrying out works to the carriageway in Hatton Garden as part of Camden’s ongoing improvement programme. The works will be carried out between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00.
In order to keep the disruption to a minimum, the work will be planned into four sections:

- From outside number 33 to Hatton Wall. This section will be carried out on Wednesday 9th & Thursday 10th Oct 2024. In order to carry out these works it will be necessary to close Hatton Garden between these two sections and traffic diversions will be in place.
- The speed humps outside numbers 34-35 & outside number 107 will be carried out on Friday 11th October 2024. In order to carry out these works a localised road closures will be in place.
- From Hatton Wall to Clerkenwell Road. This section will be carried out on Saturday 12th October 2024. In order to carry out these works it will be necessary to close Hatton Garden between these two sections and traffic diversions will be in place.
Notices giving details of dates and times of any parking bay suspensions will be fixed to posts and street lighting columns. Camden have advised that it is essential that you do not park in any areas where parking has been suspended. Any vehicles left in a prohibited area, or otherwise illegally parked, may be removed by the Council’s enforcement contractor or by the police. Please check the parking notices on a regular basis as changes to the works programme are sometimes unavoidable, necessitating changes to dates and times of parking bay suspensions.
Any vehicles that are removed will be taken to the Council’s vehicle compound at Regis Road in Kentish Town, from where they may be retrieved on payment of a penalty charge. The compound may be contacted on 020 7974 4797. Buses 88, 134, and 214 stop on Kentish Town Road at the junction with Regis Road. (In some cases, vehicles may be moved to an adjoining street; if so, details of the exact location will be given on application to the vehicle compound and on payment of the penalty charge).
