We have recently partnered with Huq to provide detailed footfall, visitor behavior, and spending data for the BID area. This partnership offers valuable insights into how foot traffic, visitor engagement, international visitation, and spending patterns have evolved from 2019 through 2025. These insights highlight recovery trends following the pandemic, shifting visitor dwell times and origins, seasonal fluctuations in international visitors, and the geographical sources of high-value spenders. All BID members are able to access the full report each quarter - please contact

From the last quarterly update, we can report that in 2025 year-to-date, footfall averages 18,959 daily - a 22.4% increase from 2024 - with further growth expected over the summer.
Tuesday remains the busiest day in terms of average daily visitors, followed by Thursday and Wednesday. Each weekday has stronger footfall than the year prior, however weekend footfall is slightly reduced.
Visitor patterns have shifted from midday peaks toward increased afternoon activity, while evening and overnight visits have declined.
Dwell times are rising which suggests more customer browsing and less 'transactional' shopping.
In addition, visitor origins have diversified since 2019, with greater contributions from outer London postcodes. International visitation shows clear seasonal trends, peaking in December (1.8%), January (1.31%), and August (1.15%), with the lowest share recorded in July (0.35%) and high-value spenders primarily come from nearby London postcodes such as N7 and NW1.
