Hatton Garden BID is delighted to announce its collaboration with
The Jewellery Collective – a community-driven members’ association founded on a vision of knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and opportunity to host a panel talk and breakfast event during the London Design Festival.
Hosted at SEC Newgate on Thursday 19 September, the ‘From Inspiration to Innovation’ event will create a platform for jewellery designers, craftspeople, and creative consultants.
Over breakfast, these individuals will unpack the jewellery design process for an audience of jewellery and fashion enthusiasts seeking inspiration and practical knowledge of their own.
Designer, craftsman, and co-founder of Dower & Hall, Dan Dower will give a keynote speech on his four decades of jewellery experience, offering first-hand insights into his motivations, creative practises, and lessons learned.
A panel headed up by jewellery designer and the Jewellery Collective founder Kassandra Gordon will adopt a similar focus, also welcoming questions directly from the audience.
The diverse panel features Gavin Marsh (co-founder, The Diamond Setter), Bibi Cheung (director, designer, and maker, TVRRINI), Ruby Jack (co-founder and designer, Ruby Jack Jewellery), Rebecca Maddock (small business creative consultant, & Worn Studio), and Nadia Abbas (co-founder and designer, Stööki).
From the sounds of music, to love and relationships, the driving forces behind the creative visions of these accomplished individuals will be discussed through the lens of materials, craft techniques, and tangible examples.
