In response to feedback from local businesses, the BID recently collaborated with our neighbouring BID, Central District Alliance, and Islington Council to act against street fundraisers at Farringdon station.
Together, we have worked to monitor activity in the area and advocated for greater enforcement to ensure public spaces remain welcoming and safe. This joint approach has already yielded positive engagement and strengthened communication with all involved. We are committed to working closely with Islington Council and we are currently looking at further plans for strategic interventions to reduce nuisance behaviour in the area.
