Established in 1948, and based in Hatton Garden, Holts is a second generation family business and a stalwart of the UK jewellery industry. Housing one of the largest teams of lapidaries in the country, Holts provide responsibly sourced fine gemstones and lapidary services to the trade.

It’s team of Gemmologists and Lapidaries are its pride and joy; having won many industry awards for the meticulous craftmanship it delivers to some of the most famous jewellery and design houses including Faberge, Cartier and Asprey. Their in-house workshop provides a full range of lapidary services, such as carving, faceting, polishing and restoration, from their in-house workshop. With a combined total of 81 years experience, Holts’ highly accomplished Lapidary department will be happy to assist you with your project.

Holts Lapidary has an extensive collection of rough and polished materials sourced from all around the globe for the past 71 years – with some rare items collected by Mr Holt himself during his early travels to China, Brazil and Africa in the 1950’s. It really is a treasure trove in the heart of Hatton Garden.

They also offer gemstone certifying and jewellery valuations for insurance, carried out from the laboratory within their 39 Greville Street showroom.
