Bug thanks to Josh :)
James and I visited your store Saturday 15.02.20 to buy our wedding bands. We left the store happy and can't praise Josh on his customer service skills enough. He has a bright future in the industry. We were also very pleased with the service that George provided on the day too :) thanks to everyone else that helped.

I have purchased and swapped three rings over a period of about two months through Hamilton’s. Each time I have had to return the ring due to issues with black shadow within the diamond . On each occasion I was told that if I went to a higher grade of diamond it would eliminate the issues I had with shadowing within the diamond

I first purchased an oval diamond 0.75 carot . This clearly showed a bow tie . George was kind enough to let me return the ring knowing what my issues were . I was advised that if I spent a little more I would get a better diamond which would eliminate the risk of seeing black within my ring . The second stone was a cushion cut stone once again 0.75 carot but costing over a £1000 more in price than the first . Again once in natural lighting indoors and in darker environments I noticed the black within my ring . Again the ring was returned . I finally purchased a round solitaire 0.90 carot diamond which again cost me approx £1000 more than the second ring .again thinking I had purchased a higher grade diamond .

Once again when I am in pubs or restaurants where the lighting is darker I have a noticeable dark shadow in the centre of the ring .

When I again brought this to George’s attention he said he had passed this complaint to his manager and she would see me on my next visit ... 4 times I have travelled 1 and a half hours each way to the shop

The area manager was abrupt in her manner to me and did not listen to any of my concerns. She kept talking over me about her ring rather than mine ???when she eventually brought her attention to my ring she kept saying She could not see any black shadow. I tried to explain that in a shop environment it does show the shadow due to high lighting techniques. She would not answer my questions on why when I am in a darker room it shows a large black spot through the centre of the diamond . She just kept on repeating herself on how many years she had been in the trade and how she could not see any black in the stone . I eventually left the shop with the round solitaire ring very disappointed and have not worn it since . I’m embarrassed at how ugly it looks on an evening out in natural surroundings

If you find yourself outside this shop my advice to you is carry on walking and find a shop that has staff that listen and rings of high quality.
