From 29 January to 26 February 2026, businesses in Hatton Garden will have the opportunity to vote on the renewal of the BID for a further five-year term. Renewal ballots are held every five years to ensure accountability, transparency, and delivery on the priorities that matter most to the business community.
Votes are postal, and to make it easy, the BID can arrange collection or courier delivery for your ballot if needed. To be successful and continue our work, the renewal requires more than 51% support both by total number of votes and by rateable value of the businesses voting. Your participation is essential to give us the mandate to continue working with key partners and the community to tackle local challenges and advocate for business needs.
Alongside the ballot, we are excited to publish our
BID Proposal 2026–2031, which reflects the voices of our levy-payers and sets out how we will continue to support local businesses. Since 2016, Hatton Garden BID has invested more than £5 million to make the district safer, cleaner, and more successful. Working with businesses, Camden Council, the Metropolitan Police, and partners across London, we have strengthened the area’s identity and built the foundations for future growth.
The proposal reconfigures our strategic themes to six core areas - Safe and Secure, Clean and Green, Placemaking, Marketing and Events, Connecting and Training, and Advocacy and Insights - ensuring that every aspect of the BID’s work responds directly to your priorities. Safety remains the number one concern for businesses, and our plans continue to tackle this in collaboration with our security partners, while also investing in streets, events, and opportunities that make Hatton Garden a world-class business and creative district.
Our ambition is clear: to ensure Hatton Garden is safer, cleaner, and more welcoming; to support our business members and the wider community; and to promote the area to a global audience.
We need your support to continue this work. Please vote ‘Yes’ in the BID renewal ballot from 29 January to 26 February 2026 and give the green light to five more years of vital investment by Hatton Garden BID.
