Alexander is the new Hatton Garden BID chairman, after having been appointed in July he is looking forward to taking the BID forward over the next 5 years.
"I am delighted to have been asked to join the Hatton Garden BID Board as Chair for its second term. As we move out of the pandemic, we know that central London and the Hatton Garden area have challenging times ahead. Along with our partners at the London Borough of Camden, I will be working with the board and executive team to help ensure the district is clean, green, welcoming and safe. We will do this by delivering a number of projects so we can welcome back all of our businesses, workers plus shoppers and tourists and make the neighbourhood better for everyone – including residents. Finally, I want us to be able to take advantage of inward investment opportunities that could arise from the opening of the Elizabeth Line early next year and to ensure we work together in partnership with public agencies and our surrounding business improvement districts.
