On Thursday 11th April 2024, Aaron Finn, (Hatton’s Garden’s BID Manager) completed his goal of walking the Piccadilly line from Cockfosters to Heathrow Terminal 5! This walk totalled: - 62.10km - 77,631 steps - 40 tube stations - 10 hours, 14 minutes, 41 seconds - £1,876 raised Aaron’s fundraising efforts were in aid of raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer and the importance of regularly checking yourself, in partnership with Orchid. Hatton Garden BID are hosting a FREE Mental Health First Aid Course for our businesses on Monday 13th & Tuesday 14th May 2024 9am-5pm to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week. We've partnered with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, to run a free women's safety webinar, to empower those that live and work in Hatton Garden. 'Stand Up Against Street Harassment' is an hour-long online session, sponsored by L'Oréal Paris. Take part in the conversation around unwanted and aggressive behaviours such as harassments that underly the broader cycle of violence against women and girls. Every year in the UK around 2,400 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer - nearly half are under the age of 35.
