Ruth Duston, Director of Hatton Garden BID
Ruth’s career spans over 25 years working within regeneration, having worked with some of the most deprived communities in the country to shaping redevelopment schemes across central London.
Ruth Duston is one of the country’s leading experts in the development and implementation of business led partnerships and Business Improvement Districts.
Maris Puks, Manager of Hatton Garden BID
Maris has over 7 years experience of working within the BID industry and has completed a masters level course in BID management.
Maris has worked on BIDs during ballot phase and is fully conversant with all legislative and compliance aspects regarding BIDs. She has extensive experience of stakeholder engagement in relation to BID ballot campaigns. In her career to date, she has dealt with the full breadth of business sectors and has an excellent understanding of the varying needs of different business sectors.

Gary Williams, Mastermelts, Chairman of Hatton Garden BID
Gary is a Director of Presman Bullion Ltd, and also sits on the Board of the parent company Mastermelt Ltd. Both companies are based in Hatton Garden and offer precious metal recycling and reclamation services to the UK’s jewellery trade.
His association with Hatton Garden spans over 40 years, initially working as a representative for a jewellery wholesaler and later as a UK award-winning manufacturer employing over 100 people. For many years Gary was also a Hatton Garden retailer specialising in bridal jewellery. Gary is the immediate past chairman of the British Jewellers’ Association and has served on several industry related committees.
Alistair Subba-Row, Farebrother, Board Observer and Advisor to Hatton Garden BID
Alistair is Senior Partner at Farebrother, a local firm of Chartered Surveyors and real estate advisors. He provides Strategic Property Advice to a wide variety of property owners and occupier businesses across Central London and the UK. He is a specialist within the London Midtown market.
In the late 1990’s to early 2000’s Alistair helped The Circle Initiative, set up by the Central London Partnership and the London Development Agency, to deliver Business Improvement Districts (BIDS) within Central London. He is a former Chairman of the InMidtown BID, Chancery Lane Association and the Midtown Business Club and presently assists the Northbank and Hatton Garden Business Improvement Districts. He is also a current member of the Camden Business Board. Alistair is a Freeman of the City of London, Real Estate advisor to The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London, a member of the Court of The Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors and a Trustee of The Garden Bridge Trust.
